Mars by Crazybaby | Levitating Bluetooth Speaker
Mars by Crazybaby | Levitating Bluetooth Speaker

A conversation with Allen Zhang, Co-Founder and CEO.

WHAT IS MARS, AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Mars by crazybaby™ is the world’s first levitating wireless Hi-Fi system. The Mars Craft levitates above the Mars Base Station using patented technology and delivers 360 degree sound projection to ensure a high quality sound experience anywhere in a room. The innovative floating spaceship design of the Mars system makes it more than just another bluetooth speaker.

My childhood UFO dream crossed my mind—what if we make it fly?

WHY CREATE MARS?

I was inspired by an interview with Elon Musk, when he said he’d like to retire on Mars. If a person was going into space to live on Mars, what speaker would he bring to enjoy the music he liked on Earth? Streaming music has changed the way people listen. We were seeing tons of awkward products assembled with cheap plastic and bad design that deliver mediocre sound. We knew we could do better.

We’re all a bunch of music lovers, we use it every day in our office.

Our customers are in 106 countries and range from geeky music lovers to high-powered executives.

WHAT MAKES MARS SO COOL?

Everyone falls in love with the Mars design immediately when they see the Craft levitating. But even with a feature as cool as levitation, they are even more surprised when they hear the sound. We achieved full-range Hi-Fi sound. It’s a great-sounding speaker first and foremost.

Where do we go from here?

We’ll keep designing crazybaby products to improve users’ digital listening experience. We’re currently in our second crowdfunding campaign for our next product, Luna by crazybaby.
